Metro PCS, for those who may not be familiar, are the unofficial wireless company of the ‘hood’ because I have honestly never seen them set up a location anywhere else. Hey, someone has to be the provider of no frills, non contract, burner phones used for “business” purposes, in order avoid that messy paper trail. In recent events, Metro PCs commissioned celebrity tattoo artist Mr. Cartoon and graffiti legends Cope 2 and Sen 2 to bomb the windows of three chains in the Bronx and Harlem, NYC.

In what’s likely to be the only art exhibition I’d ever be pumped about going to, a series of talented artists have banded together to create unique poster art for Inglorious Basterds and compiled them to be shown at the Upper Playground Gallery in Los Angeles tomorrow. Not only that, but you can buy prints of each poster and they’ll be numbered and signed by Quentin Tarantino himself. All money goes to Haiti! Good lord, this is the greatest art show of all time.

With all this snow blanketing Virginia and the lack of our towns snow removal abilities. I have taken to new hobbies that include hair farming.
If this was all I had to report than I’d be happy,however after braving the negative windchill to ride the white banks in Waynesboro with friend of the company Patrick, We quickly became delirious with the cold and decided the only way to defeat it was by spending cash at the tattoo shop. The photo speaks for itself.

This week, we been hashing out a few ideas for the mix tape cover design of company friend and artist, Joe Columbo. So far, we’re still stuck between a creative rock and visual hard place. However, we know a few things we want to avoid. Check out the Street Level, “10 Hip-Hop Album Clover Cliches”. My personal favorite Hip Hop album covers is a toss up between A Tribe Called Quest’s: “Midnight Marauders” and NWA: “Niggaz4Life”.

Our staff photographer, Diana, has been out of the states since last November, playing professional Futbol (“soccer” to us yanks) for Israel. She will soon be off to England to play for another club later in the 2010 season.
